Twickenham House and Hall provides a luxurious backdrop for your mountain wedding. Located in Jefferson, NC, our estate overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains for a stunning and private escape. While we are minutes from the attractions of the High Country, Twickenham offers a getaway from the noise and bustle of the city. Once you drive past our gate, you will find yourself in another world of Old English elegance with 400 acres of nature to explore.

Planning

Twickenham is not a venue that simply unlocks the doors, turns on the lights, and wishes you good luck. We believe that your wedding day should be one filled with joy, not stress, and our experienced wedding planners are on hand every step of the way. From the first call to discuss your vision and budget, they are available to answer your questions and guide you through each step. You don’t have to plan alone! 

The day of your wedding, your wedding planner will be on-site to coordinate with vendors, ensure your schedule is going smoothly, and respond to any last minute questions or changes. All you have to do is sip some champagne, get ready, and celebrate!

Getting Ready

Twickenham House offers several gorgeous spaces for the wedding party to prepare for the big day. We’ve curated these spaces to make your wedding day special and and fun for all involved. The Versace Room—accented with luscious silk drapes, delicate antiques, and natural light galore—is our most popular. The Billiards room is warm and inviting with a wood-burning fire place, billiards table, window seat, and antique seating galore. The perfect place for grooms and their parties to take a shot of whiskey, pin boutonnières, and play pool until it’s time for the ceremony.

Ceremony

Twickenham offers a myriad of unique ceremony locations, allowing you to select a space that aligns with your distinct wedding vision. 

Whether you desire the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains or a woodland scene, Twickenham’s grounds provide breathtaking scenery for an outdoor ceremony. For indoor ceremonies, Twickenham Hall offers elegance with the chandeliers and the largest fireplace in North Carolina. 

Reception

Experience wonder and elegance in Twickenham Hall. With expansive ceilings adorned with stunning chandeliers, natural wood accents, and the largest wood-burning fireplace in North Carolina, our reception hall is designed for celebrating. Our packages includes the use of our farm tables and chairs, and our team handles both set up and take down. Twickenham Hall can seat up to 150 guests and provides ample space for dancing. You will also have access to our attached deck for cocktail hour and stargazing. There is no time limit or noise restrictions, so you can party the night away.
